This post is more of just a general thank you to all our publishers who ran our 4th of July campaigns through the weekend. They were a huge success and the conversion rates were unbelievable. If only every weekend were a holiday weekend! :)
A couple of days ago, Sean mentioned LeadsCon - another in the seemingly endless parade of Internet marketing/affiliate marketing conferences that have sprung up over the last several years. Certainly that’s a sign of a health industry (or at least a healthy market for conferences - which can itself be a sign of a health industry).
Are you always informed of the newest campaigns that go live on a network you work with? Or any changes made to a campaign, such as payout, a new creative or simply that the campaign is expiring or has expired?
Perhaps you are too informed? Are you getting bombarded with emails about any and all changes or updates that are happening? Do you find yourself deleting or ignoring email updates from some networks because they flood you with updates daily? If so, what is the right amount of contact that should occur between a network and its affiliate?

The most annoying thing for a publisher ,when dealing with a network, is when they are assigned a new affiliate manager three or more times a year.
